There’s an active lawsuit in the 13th Circuit Court involving Michael Moore. The suit alleges that the Traverse City Film Festival didn’t pay a vendor for services performed in relation to the Traverse City Film Festival. The indie film scene is tight-knit, and the disagreement is the talk of the people involved in the industry.
But the vendor isn’t the only person that Michael Moore is accused of not paying Moore’s ex wife says that he isn’t abiding by the terms of their divorce agreement. The two were married for more than 20 years. In exchange for giving up the rights to the movies, Moore must pay her 4 percent of the profits annually. One year, he paid just $514. Another year, he paid nothing at all.
Michael Moore is all about raising the minimum wage and fairness to the little guy. But that lesson appears to be lost on him when he’s got a personal interest in the matter. Who was it that said that the problem with socialism is that you always run out of other people’s money? Do you know without looking it up?
